Where to Play Padel in Valencia

Where can I play padel in Valencia? This is a question I get asked all the time and the answer isn’t so simple. Finding somewhere can be a little bit challenging and if you are trying to book a padel court at the last minute (especially at the weekend), it can seem close to impossible especially when faced with a receptionist who doesn’t speak a word of English or a booking system that makes no sense. 1) 7 Padel-The Indoor Option

7 Padel is a fantastic option with 11 covered courts and a relatively easy (by Spanish standards) online booking system. It’s located about 15 mins by car, 30 mins by bike, 45 mins by public transport out of the city. 7 Padel is best if you already know your level and want to play against local people, but it is possible to book an entire court for your group if required.

2) SportCity-The Third Biggest Padel Club in the World

At the time of writing (19 Nov 2024), SportCity is closed because of the terrible floods that affected Valencia. Hopefully by the time you read this, it will be back open again. This place has an incredible 30 padel courts (both indoors and outdoors) and is the best option if you want to experience how popular padel is in Valencia. It’s also located about 15 mins by car, 30 mins by bike and 45 mins by public transport from the city.

3) Polideportivo Betero-Play Padel Near El Cabanyal

If you want to play padel and you are staying/living near El Cabanyal, I’d say that the Betero is the best option. There are 5 outdoor padel courts there and it is relatively cheap to rent a court. For that reason, the courts tend to go quickly and it may be difficult to find a time especially at the weekend.

4) Polideportivo Malilla-Play Padel Near Russafa

Here is another polideportivo where you can play padel in the heart of Valencia. Although it is mainly aimed at locals with memberships, it is possible to book padel courts directly with them. There are 4 outdoor padel courts here and you can easily walk over if you are staying in Russafa.

5) Enjoy Samaranch-Play Padel Near the City of Arts and Sciences

I hesitated before putting this option on the list because it has a very complicated booking system. My friends and I sometimes joke that it would be easier to hack into the system than use it as intended. However, Enjoy is perfectly located, especially if you are visiting the City of Arts and Sciences (which you should) or the oceanarium https://www.oceanografic.org/en/ and want to play padel before or after. You’ll probably need help booking this one, but I’ve now cracked the code and would be happy to help.
